Dem Cloud-Services-Markt steht 2010 ein Boomjahr bevor. Gartner schätzt, dass die weltweiten Umsätze 68,3 Mrd. Dollar erreichen werden, was einem Wachstum von 16,6 Prozent im Vergleich zum Vorjahr entspricht. Während die USA auf Kunden- wie Anbieterseite bisher die Nase vorn hatten, zieht nun auch der europäische Cloud-Markt spürbar an. Europäische Anbieter warnen indes heimische Unternehmen, ihre Daten auf US-Server auszulagern. Die lokale Wertschöpfung bleibt auf der Strecke.
